Title: Dragons Assassin Author: Arthur Slade

Review: First I should mention that this is the first book in a 7-book-series but it is like harry potter where they solve the problem and all is well but in the next book, a new problem occurs. In the book Dragon Assassin, Carmen is the main character and she has only one eye because when she was younger her brother accidentally poked out her eye. The day of Carmens graduation (NO NOT CARMEN SANDIEGO!) as a Red Adept Assassin, her brother meets her in her room and gives her a freeze potion. When she recovers, the castle is covered in Immortals, (the emperor's royal guards) and when she goes to check on the head teacher, Maestru Alesius he is on the floor with 2 crossbow bolts in him. He gives her some daggers and then she leaves the school and on her way back sees her brother and tries to kill him for starting this but he throws her off the side of the school... if she makes it out of this alive, she will kill her brother and the emperor too.

Rating: 5 stars Why: I couldn't put this book down while I was reading it and it was suspenseful and had a ton of fast paced action. I would recommend this to vivid readers or around 12+
